Chocolate Cake

The other day my best friend and I needed something to do so we baked a cake from scratch. Below is the recipe and the video.

Ingredients

• 1 1/3 cup of flour
• 1 teaspoon of baking powder
• 1 teaspoon of baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt
• 1/2 cup of butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup of milk

Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs. Ad dry ingredients with milk. Pour into an 8″ x 8″ pan (you will want to make sure you either butter the pan of place it on wax paper). Now bake the cake in the middle of the oven at 350 F for 50 – 55 minutes. Let the cake cool then remove it from the pan and decorate it then enjoy.

This cake was very simple to make and tastes a billion times better than any cake mix box you can buy. If you try this I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
