Time Travel

Time Travel

November 4, 2012

Well daylight savings time has just ended here, many of you are likely sleeping and enjoying an extra hour of sleep. If you are sleeping  you’re missing out on being able to time travel back an hour. I just got to experience time travel. Why should you care? Well because time just went back an hour means you can redo things that you did an hour ago and improve upon them, liquor stores and/or bars are open an extra hour (depending on management).

If you missed time traveling this year don’t worry, next year when you will be able to time travel forward one hour and later on in the year you will be able to time travel back one hour.

Happy Time Traveling!

Zombies, Run!

Zombies, Run!

June 27, 2012

Zombies RUN!

The Game: Zombies, Run!
Genre: Immersive action-adventure

Developer: Six to Start
Platform: Android (also available on iOS and  Windows Phone)

Zombies, Run! is an audio adventure running game where you run, walk, or jog your way to victory in the real world. You can even do this to your own soundtrack by selecting music on your device. As you wander around your day to day tasks in the real world, you pick up items that range from bandages to boxes of light bulbs. Using these supplies you’ve picked up you get to strategically reinforce your home base. Part strategy, the game lets you choose how to upgrade your base, and manage who gets those useful supplies. Activating the zombie chase mode adds even more entertainment as you have to break out into a sprint (or increase your current walking speed by 20%) to escape the zombies chasing you. The looks you will get while at the mall, suddenly sprinting down the corridor, running away from pretend zombies is alone worth the entire game.

Online Passwords

Recently some major password database leaks have been making headlines all over the internet.

Last.fm the social music website, LinkedIn a professional social networking website, and eHarmony a well known dating website have all been victims of a recent cyber-crime spree of database break-ins. LinkedIn in particular is reporting that more than 8 million passwords may have been compromised.

iTunes

iTunes

November 24, 2011

iTunes should work more like Wikipedia and allow me to tag artists in songs so I can see all songs by that one artist including songs they might be featured in.

I would love an MP3 player/media player that could do that.

Smartphones

Smartphones

October 4, 2011

This is my rant about the smartphones and iPhones.

Ok so they put a better processor in the iPhone 4S. Added some fancy voice recognition stuff. Added 64gb size. And made the camera 1080p and 8 mega pixels. Increased talk time on 3G. Decreased wifi data usage. Made it heavier but made it smaller.

There is nothing truly revolutionary with the iPhone 4S. Next will be the iPhone 5 after that they will release the iPhone 5S. And it will repeat. But at each number increment they will add some fancy feature many of which will may be deemed not needed. Example FaceTime that was a great feature but honestly how often do people use it? I’ve only used it like 5 time. Don’t get me wrong the phones will get faster processors to handle the new feature but it seems we have reached the limit for now. Anything else added maybe unnecessary.

The windows phone has some feature catching up to do but they will catch up. Android and iPhone I believe have reached the point of optimum features. Nothing else is really needed in a phone.

I believe phone technology has reached a point where smartphones have everything they need. Phones have been revolutionized but I believe that revolution is over.

It’s time for a new revolution in something else. Phones are good now. They do everything anyone has ever imagined and even more.

Old Times

Old Times

November 26, 2010
I remember when I first heard about the fact that the iPod Touch was going to come out and it was going to have WiFi. My initial reaction was why does an iPod need WiFi? The ideas I came up with for the possibly of things you could do with an iPod with WiFi are, use it to crack WiFi networks, run nmap on open networks, use it torrent music and never need to use a computer to update the iPod music.
Now it seems that an iPod without WiFi just seems so, how shall i put this I think I’ll go with disconnected. An iPod without WiFi seems so disconnected. Funny how much things change.

Wow

Wow

July 5, 2010

All I can say is wow. That even after seven or so years of not talking to someone, you still get along with them and it’s basically picking up right where we left off it’s awesome. All I can say right now is that I can not wait to see what lies ahead. Only time will tell. The fact that I like spending time with that person makes things that much better and worth while.

3 Hours of Stick Men

3 Hours of Stick Men

May 27, 2010

The other day I was at a friends house, he decided to draw some art. Well I absolutely suck at art related things, that are not on the computer. I had nothing to do while he drew his picture, so I decided to draw stick men. I drew stick men for three hours. I ended up drawing a picture of some stick men war, I also drew my favorite word/question why. The photo above and the ones below the break are the result. Enjoy.

Reverse conspiracy

Reverse conspiracy

May 25, 2010

You know how manual cars can go to first, second, third, and so on. Well there is only one reverse. The reason that there is one reverse is because if there was more than one reverse and you drove with the doors open your car would fly.
