I Went to EUC World Amplify 2026
I recently attended EUC World Amplify 2026, the annual conference hosted by the World of EUC. This year, the EUC World Amplify conference took place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, from September 28th to October 1st, 2026. This was my third time attending the conference.
In this post, I will detail my experience at EUC World Amplify 2026.
Day 0
My adventure to EUC World Amplify started like every conference with a flight. There were no direct flights from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. To get to Milwaukee, I first went to Chicago, Illinois, USA. It was my first time at Chicago O’Hare Airport. Many friends warned me the airport is huge and finding your next gate can be a journey. Fortunately, my arrival and departure gates were in the same terminal.
On the map, the gates looked deceptively close. Thankfully, I had plenty of time between flights, and it took about 15 minutes to get to my next gate. My next flight was directly to Milwaukee. It was one of the shortest flights I’ve ever been on. We were in the air for about 20 minutes.
Once I arrived in Milwaukee, I met up with my friend Stephen Wagner, who was also attending the conference. The conference was at the Baird Center, which was attached to the hotel via a plus 15, or as they call it, a Skywalk. I was staying at the Hilton Milwaukee. Once I arrived at the hotel, I checked in and put my stuff in my room. EUC World Amplify didn’t start until later that evening. Fortunately, some of my friends had already arrived, so I met up with them and hung out.
Later that evening, the conference started with a welcome reception. At the welcome reception, I picked up my badge and got signed in.
The welcome reception was very nice. I was able to chat with a lot of friends I hadn’t seen in a while, and I even made some new friends.
After the welcome reception, my friend Jaymes, who works at Kasm, hosted a quick gathering to talk about AI and application deployments. I learned a lot about what Kasm and Tassient can do. What was really cool about that gathering is that they ordered a really old port, and we all got to try some.
This was my first time trying port, and it was very good.
After that, it was getting late, so it was time to call it a night since sessions would start tomorrow.
Day 1
The first full day of EUC World Amplify 2026 started with a keynote hosted by Scott Manchester. In the keynote, Scott spoke about how EUC must always be stable, secure, and cost-effective. He also said migrations are never fully complete because you need to keep modernizing to stay ahead of the game and keep costs down. Another insight that Scott shared is that Windows 365 was built on top of AVD. About 80% of the Windows 365 codebase is actually AVD code.
